Car barn extension
In 2016, a project was started to expand the original car storage barn in Camp Creek Yard (CCY).
Increasing the building to the north would allow another use for the south end of the structure.
It was a close fit at the north end for longer cars with this expansion, but careful engineering made it work.
New doors in this end would also allow for better sealing to keep critters out of the structure.
By expanding this structure, roughly the same amount of cars could be stored while still utilizing the south end for the new wood shop.
