Avoid the traffic around Lodge Park by riding the train from downtown Monticello to watch the fireworks! Popcorn, candy bars, cold soft drinks can be purchased at our concession stand. We recommend bringing lawn chairs, blankets, and insect repellent. The dinner train departs at 7:00 p.m. and the regular fireworks train departs at 8:00 p.m. from the Wabash Depot in downtown Monticello. Space is limited, and reservations are strongly advised.

Dinner Option:

Ride in style on one of our two restored dinning cars and enjoy a delcious dinner of grilled sirlon steak, spinach and artichoke stuffed chicken, or lasagna. Sides and drinks included. The dinner train will leave one hour early at 7:00 p.m. and may choose toget off early or enjoy a longer ride back to town to pick up the regular fireworks riders. The fare for the dinner train is $38.00 per person.
